A must visit in Bucharest: Therme Bucharest – the largest spa in Europe

I was definitely surprised to learn that the largest spa in Europe is found in Bucharest. It has 10 thermally heated pools, 11 saunas and 16 water slides. It is also Romania’s biggest botanical garden with over 800,000 plants! I haven’t personally had the opportunity to go yet but it is definitely on my bucket list!  

The ticket price various depending on which areas you want to access and for how long. The Elysium ticket provies you access to all areas and the day price comes to 137 Romanian Leu or around £29.24 only! 

I feel like if there was something like this in or near London it would cost more than the flight and the entry ticket combined so it’s not a bad idea to go even if it’s just for a relaxing Spa weekend away.

You can buy tickets on their official website or you can book a bundle deal on GetYourGuide that includes transfers (although this only allows you 4.5 hours at the Spa and does not include entrance to some areas).
